Shaday Agosto-Vazquez serves as Chairman of the East Voyager Academy Board of Trustees, providing governance leadership and helping guide the board's work in support of the school's mission, accountability, and long-term stability. Since his election in 2020, he has served in a role that requires steady judgment, public trust, and a clear focus on students, families, staff, and the broader school community. As Chairman, Shaday helps support effective board operations, responsible oversight, and the continued growth of EVA's bilingual and intercultural learning environment.

Sue Tyte serves as Vice Chair of the East Voyager Academy Board of Trustees, supporting the board's leadership, governance responsibilities, and service to the school community. Since her election in 2022, she has helped strengthen the connection between board priorities, school operations, and the needs of students and families. In her role, Sue contributes to thoughtful decision-making, organizational accountability, and the continued development of a school culture centered on safety, learning, and community trust.

Si Blake serves as Treasurer of the East Voyager Academy Board of Trustees, supporting the board's responsibility for financial oversight, transparency, and responsible stewardship of school resources. Her role helps ensure that budget decisions, financial planning, and fiscal accountability remain aligned with the needs of students, staff, and families. As Treasurer, Si contributes to the practical foundation that allows EVA to sustain its academic mission and continue serving the school community effectively.

Victor Hiraldo serves as Secretary of the East Voyager Academy Board of Trustees and brings more than 25 years of experience in K-12 education, instructional leadership, curriculum, and language learning. His background includes classroom instruction, district-level leadership, and service as a Dual Language Immersion and World Languages Coordinator, where he helped expand access to bilingual education. Through his current work supporting educators and school districts, Victor brings valuable expertise in teacher development, multilingual learners, program design, and equitable student outcomes to EVA's continued growth.

Jianguo Liu, Ph.D., serves as a Trustee of the East Voyager Academy Board of Trustees and brings a strong professional background in engineering, technical leadership, and community service. With more than 30 years of experience in power systems, design, studies, and protective relaying, he contributes a disciplined, analytical perspective to school governance. His community leadership, including service with the Chinese American Association of Charlotte, also supports EVA's mission of cultural connection, bilingual learning, and meaningful engagement with families and the broader community.

Zhenjie "Jenny" Tang serves as a Trustee of the East Voyager Academy Board of Trustees, contributing to the board's responsibility for school oversight, mission alignment, and community accountability. In this role, she helps support thoughtful governance and the continued development of EVA's bilingual and intercultural educational model. Jenny's service as a trustee reflects a commitment to students, families, and the long-term success of the school community.

Dr. Yujia Wu serves as a Trustee of the East Voyager Academy Board of Trustees, supporting the board's work in guiding the school with accountability, care, and a focus on student success. As a trustee, Dr. Wu contributes to governance decisions that help sustain EVA's academic mission, bilingual learning environment, and commitment to serving families well. This role supports the broader goal of maintaining a strong, safe, and culturally rich school community.
